MIDDLESBROUGH FOOTBALL CLUB

Welcome to the Safeguarding Concerns Portal for Middlesbrough Football Club - Matchday

At Middlesbrough Football Club, the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending our men’s and women’s matchdays is extremely important to us. Whether you are a supporter, member of staff, volunteer, player, or visitor, we want you to feel safe, respected, and valued at all times. Thank you for taking the time to share any concerns - your willingness to speak up helps us maintain a positive and secure environment for all.

Concerns may relate to issues such as bullying, racism, harassment, abuse, medical issues, safety risks within the stadium, concerns about the behaviour of supporters, concerns about our staff or anyone involved with Middlesbrough Football Club, or any situation that could impact someone’s health or wellbeing. Even if something feels small or uncertain, if it doesn’t seem right, we want to hear about it.

We want you to feel completely safe and supported when raising a concern. If you choose to report using your name, you will be supported throughout the process by our safeguarding team, and any information you share will be handled sensitively and only shared on a need‑to‑know basis. Your trust matters to us, and we will treat your information with care and respect at every stage.

You also have the option to report anonymously. If you prefer this route, you will be given a username and password so you can return to the portal and communicate securely with the safeguarding team. You may remain anonymous for as long as you wish. Your login details can be sent via SMS or email, and your identity cannot be traced. You are welcome to use a private email address if that feels more comfortable.

When you feel confident that your concern is being handled appropriately, you may choose to meet with the safeguarding team to discuss the matter further.
